We’re looking for an ambitious Senior Record to Report Specialist to bring structure and is able to standardize, optimize and automate financial processes. This is your chance to work at the heart of our Financial Shared Service Center and make a tangible impact on both day-to-day operations and long-term efficiency.
What’s the job all about?
Within the Record to Report team you will have a critical role during the month-end closing, ledger accuracy (balance sheet files), financial compliance, and reporting. You’ll act as a key liaison between the FSSC and internal stakeholders like Finance, HR, IT, and Treasury. Teamwork is essential for success.
You’ll play a central role in ensuring we meet financial deadlines, optimize operations (e.g. based on a to be developed KPI dashboard), and maintain full compliance with international accounting standards. Your insights will help streamline our processes and strengthen our internal controls—while enabling our teams to focus on strategic growth.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities involve?
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings, including Onestream reporting
- Lead and support external audit activities and internal control processes
- Maintain and improve general ledger accuracy and financial reporting processes
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase standardization and efficiency, this can be within the FSSC but also in broader projects
- Contribute to system transitions and new process rollouts across the organization
- Support statutory reporting, declarations (e.g. VAT, batteries, packaging) and CBS Statistics
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal policies
- Act as the first point of contact for escalations within Record to Report
Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking a proactive finance professional who combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset. You should have:
- A Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3–5+ years of international experience in financial accounting and /or reporting
- Solid knowledge of E2E financial processes
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and BI tools (Power BI, Business Objects)
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
