Description:
We are looking for a skilled SCADA Support Engineer with strong experience in GE iFIX SCADA systems, PLC integration, and industrial automation environments. The role involves development, troubleshooting, support, and coordination tasks across SCADA platforms with a focus on iFIX 6.5 and related technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Development and troubleshooting of SCADA and PLC systems (GE iFIX preferred).
- Configuration and maintenance of IGS OPC servers, user configurations, and security settings.
- Hands-on experience with GE iFIX 6.5 SCADA environment.
- Exposure to Historian server setup and maintenance.
- Perform server patching, patch updates, and handle GE license management.
- Provide L2 and L3 level support for SCADA systems, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Monitor and support SCADA systems in real-time production environments.
- Coordinate effectively with key users and external vendors for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Participate in support and shutdown activities as required.
- Ensure adherence to SCADA security best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with SCADA/PLC systems, especially GE iFIX.
- Strong understanding of OPC server configurations and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with system patching, license handling, and server administration.
- Good-to-have experience in PLC or SCADA programming.
- Flexible to work in shifts or extended hours based on support needs.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
