What you will do
As a Future Talent – Automation Engineer you will be involved in the following activities to develop and strengthen your abilities:
Will be involved in design, specification and cost calculation for the automation system for quotations and projects.
Be part of the team which is responsible for working out and managing the automation design of the installation in close collaboration with the other members of the project team.
Learning how to write specifications for automation architecture and assessing the progress and quality of the automation in projects and at the suppliers.
Contribute to the commissioning of the automation system in cooperation with other disciplines on-site like Process Engineering and Cheese Technology.
Supports the person responsible for advising and supporting the commercial team regarding making quotations.
Giving Market Company or customer presentations about the automation design.
Learning and getting initial experience in troubleshooting while in the field / during production.
Be an active member of automation projects from order to customer take over, contributing to this by doing hands on work – software coding, PLC programming, HW design, FAT testing – during the project where it is required
We believe you have
You have finished recently your Bachelor or Master Degree in Automation/Electrical or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent
You have initial knowledge of MS Office tools, Siemens (TIA Portal/S7, WINCC), Rockwell (Compact Logix, Panelview) and Wonderware.
You have initial knowledge and experience of working with electrical documentation.
You are eager to travel: 30%.
You have a mature and professional personality with the ability to create and utilize a broad network.
You like to solve problems and you have a strong personal drive.
You are driven by automation and the fast-developing aspects (IoT, Industry 4.0, etc)
Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must, fluency in Dutch is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver projects to high engineering standards
Administrative, organized, systematic and consistent, result oriented with a strong personal drive
Able to work independently as well as part of a team, structured approach
Willingness to travel up to 50%
